How do I know I can trust Swipeapp?
Swipeapp is a professional maid service, all our maids are insured residential maids who pride themselves in quality cleaning services. Upon being hired, each maid is trained to perform the detailed cleaning plans to our customers’ specifications. We stand behind our work with a 24-hour Guarantee. If you’re not completely satisfied, simply contact us within 24 hours to arrange for us to come back and re-clean the specific areas that did not meet your expectations. Who cleans my home?
All our maids are female Philippines nationals, our maids speak and understand English and are above the age of 21. Our cleaning professionals are trained and insured. Our maids respect customers by never eating, drinking, smoking or using appliances during home cleanings. And each Swipeapp maid takes pride in their work, receiving regularly updated training and supervision to ensure quality maid service.
How will our relationship work?
Communication is important for any relationship including ours. Swipeapp understand we must earn your trust during every visit. It's why we're so flexible, offering customized cleaning service plans designed with your needs in mind. No contracts. No hassle. What should I do before a home cleaning service?
To make our house cleaning services more efficient, we ask that you pick up clothing, toys and other household items prior to a visit from our housekeeping teams. Learn more on how to prepare for your home cleaning.
Do I have to be home during house cleanings?
Because we clean Saturday – Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. most of our customers aren't home but the vast majority trust Swipeapp with the key to their home. For additional security, all house keys are individually coded and cross-referenced. Find out what to expect when Swipeapp comes to your home.
What time does Swipeapp arrive?
At Swipeapp we strive to reach your home on your scheduled booking time but we can't guarantee an exact time maids will arrive because it depends on traffic, weather and the conditions of other homes on the schedule. A one-hour window of arrival is typical. Please note that if the maid arrives late then your booking will be extended accordingly.
What if something is damaged during a home cleaning?
We treat you and your home with complete respect. If something does unexpectedly break, we do our best to either repair or replace that item. Swipeapp maids are fully insured. Home insurance is the responsibility of our clients. We accept liability up to the value of the premium or a maximum of AED 500.
What if my maid service missed a spot?
Our maid services offer consistent, quality home cleaning. Like in any relationship, however, miscommunications occur and we may make a mistake. That's why we offer a house cleaning service guarantee, which means if you notify Swipeapp within 24 hours, our house cleaning staff will correct their mistake at no charge. Am I liable for maids compensation or insurance?
Swipeapp is a simple, worry-free home cleaning service solution. That means we take care of personal liability with regard to work-related injury. Some independent maid services may not, which makes homeowners liable. With Swipeapp we are fully insured and licensed for your protection and ours.
Do I provide cleaning supplies or equipment?
If you have included materials in your booking we will brings all necessary cleaning materials. If not we expect you to have:
    •    Cleaning products (toilet cleaners, general purpose cleaners, glass cleaners, detergents and grease solvents)
    •    Cleaning equipment (mop & bucket, broom, dust brush & pan)
    •    Vacuum cleaner (including any extra parts required)
    •    4 cloths (one each for):
– Bathrooms
– Toilet
– Kitchen
– Other surfaces
    •    Sponges (or additional cloths if you prefer)
    •    Duster (or dusting cloths of your choice)

What happens if I need to reschedule my maid service?
Swipeapp works with you. We typically recommend calling 24-hours before your regularly scheduled home cleaning with a more convenient cleaning time. We will do our best to accommodate your scheduling needs.
What if my home cleaning falls on a holiday?
We call to reschedule for a more convenient time when house cleanings fall on holidays.
How do I pay for residential cleaning services?
Payments are made at the time of booking your order via debit / credit cards. We do not accept cash / cheque.
Can I provide special instructions for my maid?
We encourage it! Special instructions will enhance the cleaning experience you receive. However, it is very important you mention any special instructions directly in your order form so that we can place them in your file. This makes your notes available to maid that may clean your home.
How often can you provide service?
Swipeapp’s service can be provided weekly, every two weeks, or monthly, depending on your cleaning needs. We also offer cleanings for special occasions, as well as move-in and move-out cleaning services. Learn more about our flexible house cleaning options.
Do you always send the same maid?
We believe that sending the same maid is very important and we do everything within our control to send the same maid for our regular customers. However, just like every workplace, we experience absences, vacation and resignations. We will send a replacement maid, if necessary, in order to meet your schedule requirements. All of our teams are trained in the same cleaning system, so that when another maid must be used, it is transparent to our customers.
Is the maid allowed to receive tips?
At Swipeapp tips are not expected.
Is the maid OK with pets?
Yes! We are a pet-friendly company and believe it is OK to have pets in the house while we clean. If your dog/cat is aggressive in any way, we suggest leaving your pet outside or in a gated area to ensure the safety of our maid. If you are not home during our clean, we ask that you leave a note how to handle the pet so the maid is clear when entering the home.
